demystifying the
developer desktop
This program and associated
resource kit derived from a clear
need of our
customers to gain a better
understanding of what developer
software is installed in a
desktop environment, determine
how many "developers" are present in the
organization based on these
results, and report all of the
findings in a clear, simple
manner. The Developer Desktop
Inventory Kit, known as the
DDIK, is a targeted content
resources kit aimed at
addressing this
need, and is delivered via
either self-help or formal partner-led
training.
Developed by David Baliles &
James Chittenden, members of the
Microsoft Public Sector
Developer Platform team, the
DDIK 3.0 hopes to provide our
customers and partners with an
appropriate Best Practice for
managing Developer Desktops. |
